Check Computer Hardware Diagnose PCI Express PCIE Port LED Tester Slot Checker

Usage:
Used to check if all the contactors of a PCI EXPRESS port are in good condition and active. Instant visual test thanks to a tray of LED diodes.

Compatibility:
All equipment with PCI EXPRESS port. Note that due to its size, it will not always be possible to test 1x PCIE ports, as the tester is primarily intended for testing the graphics card port (16x and above).
Operative mode:
- Place the tester on the PCI EXPRESS port to be checked, supply the tester with an external 12V power supply (with a 2.5x5.5mm plug). EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY
- Press the small button located on the tester and view the diodes. All must have the same brightness: a diode that is too dark can indicate an open circuit, while a diode that is too bright can indicate a short circuit.
No special skills required, just one finger is enough to push the button. The motherboard itself does not need to be powered to test the viability of the contacts.
